No, not true at all............take just changing the colors, stitching, and embroidery, yeah I can see your point. But when you have the choice of which actual leather, how stiff, which web, what type of shearling, palm liner material, anywhere from soft to extra stiff finger stays, palm pad material....and whether or not to even have a palm pad, those are custom options! And some Rawlings models you can only order as a custom, they're not available any other way!Custom gloves that manufactures offer on their website are not true customs they're just called that because of webbing and color choices. They're stock models dressed up
And Bart at Glovesmith will change finger length, hand stall and finger stall size, he'll even thin out the leather for you as an option. Not sure how many customs you've ever had or ordered before?
