.... Just thought i'd take a point from the other post cursing at the field....

Freakin' a coaches
Do you need to be cussed at to make sure catchers are included in~
Hitting at practice
(not just catching for pitchers during batting)
And
Warming up throwing from catchers position befor games.

Catcher's are often over looked and not even thought about when it comes to individual work or warm ups. I would get so frustrated watching DD hit first with the pitchers and then go catch bullpen warm ups and then wonder over to the dugout during the coin flip. I would ask her if she has done long toss or any quick dirt ball blocks to get the body fired up. Nope! She started gettig with the other catchers working on long throws right before the game. When coach uses Catchers to catch up during infield practice and do 2 bunts...drives me crazy. At least let them take reps at other positions. When DD was with a larger organization that had multiple teams and multiple age divisions taking infield at the same time. Players would hop to different positions without even asking. It was nice to watch as this team ran nice practices. It was like a ballet with many moving parts with multiple fungo hitters working in unison. I was actually sad to leave that program.
