Are IDT and Fireworks power pool considered pretty similar, or is one considered more competitive than the other?

That was what I thought. My daughter has played IDT the last few years. I want to say however that this year the 16U teams didn't seem quite as strong. Some of the really strong teams we played against last year seemed to be over in the Fireworks power pool this year.

My daughter played in both, I felt like the Boulder IDT had better competition in the 14 and 18U division, but the fireworks power pool in the 16U division was better.
