Depends on why you are going. If you are going to be seen by college coaches good luck. If you are going so that you can play so very good competition from all over the Western and Middle America then you pick the right set of tournaments. Between the Sparkler, Fireworks and the IDT everyone is spread out and all over the Denver area. Just a note that you never play in the same complex more that one day and you have a free day in the middle of your schedule with no games. We played down the street from our hotel on the southern side of Denver one day. 45 minutes north and west the second day. 35 minutes east on our third day and an hour and a half north on Saturday. That is typical for everyone.

We went twice. Both times we did not see any college coaches in the complexes that we played in until Saturday and Sunday. A lot of teams were done on Friday. Now if you are playing in one of Power Pools and get to play at Christopher Fields in Westminster then you will see a lot of college coaches and possibly be on TV.

This is just our families experience yours may vary.

We played at one park until we made it to the top 12, then we switched parks. No full day breaks, but still had time to do some sightseeing. We had all our coaches we contacted attend and only a handful of new ones. The All Star, and All Star Academic were totally a waste of money, I will say if you do the All Star make sure you have the 8am or 9:30 games, after that the coaches are off to the other parks. The OnDeck camp was amazing, was worth the money. All in all it was possibly the best tournament we have ever attended as a 16u team.
