Most colleges could care less about your high school career. There are a ton of external factors that come into play in HS ball (size of school, coach’s knowledge, skill level of players around you, etc....) so it really is a mixed bag for softball players in HS. If you are on a decent HS team, D1 recruits obviously tend to stick out due to ability. Normally a D1 player is the best player on their HS team and one of the top players in the conference.
