The title of the thread is Collapsing backside only on live pitching

Do you have any tee work and/or front toss videos. Appears she may be using her legs to adjust to the height of the pitch.
I will need to post some. During tee work and soft toss she doesn’t squat. She is much more firm and ha dad go to the ball. I see that it does look like squatting.

Looks like front and backside is collapsing. More of a squatting.

Yes. She just doesn’t do it except when live pitching. Sometimes with great results, but would love to have drills to fix this.

Here's what should happen:
1) Coil hips inward as you stride to toe touch
2) Then coil outward, which makes the back elbow drop, and the swing starts

Here's what she does:
1) Coil hips inward as she goes backward until her head is over her back foot (see pic).
2) Coil hips OUTWARD as she strides forward to toe touch.
3) She drops her back elbow while she is on one leg, during the stride.

Other Dads at home, the #1 thing to teach your kid is to coil your hips INWARD AS you stride forward to toe touch. And keep them coiled in as long as possible. Don't spend another penny on lessons, cages, or bats until you learn this. You can learn this in front of a mirror at home in a few days. It's easy.
