Cheap shade for fence-mount cameras

Similar idea but I made this one out of some tin and some cheap wall hooks I got from Dollar Tree. Spray painted it white to help with the heat and it works pretty good.
My only concern with that would be the potential of the hooks to impact the play of game. We've all played against "that coach": the first time you score on a wild pitch, "that coach" claims one of your hooks changed the balls trajectory.

But props to both of you for your ingenuity.

Looks like a great idea, but it wouldn't help me. We always play on the field oriented so that my camera is facing directly into the sun. Always. Wherever we go. Whatever time we play.

I pack a step ladder in the SpyderMobile (don't judge). When we have that issue, we just mount really high and aim low. Generally keeps the sun and field lights out of the shot.
