Ok then. Here we go.

She immediately starts off turned. Arm behind body. Watch what happens next.

Arm goes out away from body. She needs to launch strait and keep the arm close to the body.

Starting away from the body causes this. Hand over head. This is dangerous to her shoulder and sets her up for failure. It’s amazing she gets back to the power line. This causes a turn down of the ball and she never recovers.

This is actually not horrible position with ball at 3. But rather than dropping the elbow down she ends up leading with the ball.

Here it is. Ball down. Straightening of the arm. Butt is out and she will completely miss brush.

Here is the missed brush. If the arm had some bend and ball at 3 she may have had contact. But with the arm straight it just wasn’t going to happen.

Hope this helps you see where she is going wrong. It starts with the drive and arm circle.

Slingshot=starting from the k position?

Yes. From 12 o’clock position with ball being shown to the catcher. As she tends to straighten her arm (as does my DD) I would make sure to exaggerate the bend in her arm as a kind of over correction that will hopefully help keep more bend when she goes to full arm circle and then full motion.

You have no idea how many times I’ve shown her this from video! So frustrating. In slow motion or even from her k position she does it perfectly. I do t know why at full speed she straightens her arm and turns ball over. If there is a drill out there I’m unaware of please share!

Yes there is a drill. It's called the Bucket Dad Patience Drill. You need to do 100 of them every day. :)

You don't change muscle memory overnight or even in a few months. Takes thousands of reps. Stay positive. Be encouraging. Last thing you want to do is lose patience. Then you lose the fun and then you lose the kid. If you had any idea of just how far ahead she is compared to most others you would not be frustrated.

Better yet, do like I did. Get humbled by trying to do it yourself. It's an eye opener! :) Then you'll better appreciate how well she is truly doing.

K position only at the start, it's too static and I try to move them to something with more of a backswing and a step/short leap. Like Blair Luna in this warmup.

Agree with making this position more dynamic by taking a step/short leap. From any of our warm up positions, we always take a step.
