Grey and chocolate. That’s a sweet looking mitt.

My catcher DD has been using this glove since Jan. It's beautiful and was broken in game ready in about a week. She catches A LOT though. We practice 4 times a week and teams #1 catchers over about 4 games a weekend. Purchased from JBG.

Good to hear it’s doing well. I thought it was a cool looking color combo and dd liked the looks of it. Kinda limited in choices cause she prefers a h web

Mine has always had closed mitts before this and I was worried she wouldn't use it, but I pulled it out for first practice and she never went back to her old entry level All-Stars.

Marucci Fastpitch Series MFGSB34CMV 34" Catchers Mitt.

This spring, 12u DD got called upon to be teams fill in Catcher. So, we bought gear. She tried every glove in store, and settled on this Marucci. Really good catchers mitt. No issues with balls popping out, even with inexperienced catcher. Also, big enough for me to use on occasion with older DD. Break in was not bad. I coat of strong oil, then put ball in pocket, and wrapped it in a glove locker type strap, and forgot about it for about 10 days. Then started catching with it, and kept it in glove locker with ball when not in use.

Well got the mizuno back at the house. Yes I’ve bought it twice now lol. I really like the shape and design of the glove just the hand opening wasn’t big enough. So talked to best man from my wedding who was a heck of a catcher about gloves he said if you like it and she likes it I’ll restitch it to open hand pocket a lil so it fits better so that’s what we did. Two hot glove treatments, beating it with glove mallet now it’s wrapped with ball in it. Breaking in process begins. You can see in the pics where the stitching used to run through. The yellow arrow shows hole and stitch that ran through the hole.

I've had this Nokona Kangaroo mitt for about 3 years, almost gave up on it because I couldn't break it in. Then I got a mallet, a break in pad and found a leather conditioner called 2B Wax that broke it in in about a week. Works well now for the times I have to get on the bucket and catch her.
Her team has an Easton deal so I'm ordering their pro catchers mitt whenIMG_20190129_174908_644.jpg I order her a new ghost bat next month.
