I went with a slightly used nokona from ebay About $120 Love it I also bought a evo shield thumb guard except I wrapped it from my thumb into my palm. I also took one of those long fingernail files and shoved up into the index finger slot. My index finger is through hole on outside of glove behind file. Once the ball gets fast enough that it moves on almost every pitch it’s harder to catch every ball in the webbing. I need all the extra padding I can find.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was a custom LA compared to a true Heart of the Hide custom?

$269 plus Tax.

Just configured a similar HOH glove, and it came to $359 before tax. I considered the HOH glove, but I had tried on a LA in a retail store, and was confident it fit my hand, I worried that the HOH might fit "smaller" so went with what I knew. Anyway, I am very happy with the custom LA that arrived.
