Would make sense for it to be softball and baseball, I've just never heard of this change yet for softball. DD will be a back-up catcher this spring, so it would be good to know for sure.

Is this a softball rule change that chest protectors need to be NOCSAE certified? I only can find references to it being a baseball rule change.

I could have sworn it was BB and SB ... but I can’t find any reference to SB now.

I looked at the new Schutt shin gaurds (https://www.schuttsports.com/schutt-s4-0-leg-guards.html) and DD really liked them. The only reason I didn't grab them is we are waiting to see what the new Jen Schro set is like.
