We use an AllStar helmet with the Mizuno chest and legs (newer style with the strap under the foot).Has been a really great combo (the shins stay in place better than her previous wilson promotion)

I think this is the exact combo she is going to try. Thank you. She likes the idea of the strap under the foot

My kid is tall and lanky, and the all-star shins would actually hit the backs of her thighs when squatting and push them away from her shins. The Mizuno are a little more contoured and with the strap the don't budge when moving around. We've got more than a year in them and at first I though for sure the foot strap would be a hinderance and I was prepared to cut it off, but it actually is one of the best features of the gear. And the All Star helmet is just the most comfortable she's found for her head.
