This guy is spouting fake news. He says it takes .120 secs to deliver the ball. He says it takes .100 secs from heel strike to contact. All wrong.

It takes .350 to .400 secs to pitch a ball from release. It takes .150 to .180 (this is why they call it a FIVE FRAME SWING - 30 fps) to swing AFTER the front foot is down. So the foot must be down when the ball is halfway.

So, I'm a NO on this guy.
He says 1.2 seconds to deliver the ball from the stretch. Which times from first movement of pitcher after coming set to the ball hitting the catcher’s glove. Sure the .1 second swing after heel strike might not be exactly correct he’s generalizing the numbers.

the generalization of the numbers is just to point out to his hitters not to rush their load/gather. Since they believe they have 1/3 of the time they actually have to get into a good launch position.
