I had not heard about Cal-Hi Sports until a friend of mine posted a congratulations on FB that DD is a nominee for the Cal-Hi Sports All-State Softball Team.

What does this mean, how does an athlete get nominated, how is the final team selected?...

It’s very cool that someone thinks DD is an all-state athlete

We have all-state teams in TN, it's really weird how they pick. I've had it explained 5 times from 5 different sources and each one contradicts the other. Haha
