Holy Shat...maybe you should have put rails on that bed...haha :)

That's pretty high. But damn nice setup to gain some extra space in small area...nice job man!!

When we dropped our oldest dd off at college her freshman year it was amazing how fast the mood changed when we had to leave! Her and my wife were total wrecks in a matter of 30 seconds after being so happy and excited the whole day.
That sounds very familiar! My wife asked my son if he missed her yet?? He said "mom.......she's been to tournaments 3 times longer than this already........so no!"

Trust me Core, I tried.......hard! Last week when she informed me I had to build her a bed loft, a couple of teammates sent her pics of their lofts, with NO safety rails, so all of a sudden Anna is too cool for a rail

So that's all I thought about as I was putting this thing together, these girls are 6 feet tall, Anna's 5 feet tall. Falling for them would be like falling off a coffee table, for Anna it'd be like falling off a house! She's hard headed, I can't fix that! But falling off would definitely be a hospital run and I told you so!! She's slept in it for 3 days now, so far so good!

FWIW I built one in college too for the same reason. Slept in it for a year and a half until one night, after having too many adult sodies shall we say, I decided that I could just throw a leg over and roll out of bed on the way to the restroom. Result = flat on my back on a tile floor. Hurt like hell even with all the pain killer I had consumed the previous 12 hours. Thankfully no damage besides bruises...physically and to my ego. Remember that feeing it like it was yesterday.....

Lesson learned- from that point forward if I was consuming adult beverages I consumed so many that climbing up there just wasn’t safe so I slept on the community couch since the fall wasn’t as far.

Here’s what a 3 month old glove looks like that‘s never been touched! Still using her wore out Pro206 everyday! She said there has to be zero mistakes at daily infield practice and she just hasn’t used it yet.......mistakes = running!!
