I hesitate to use "towards the catcher" because some young players will interpret that to mean straightening the front arm and pushing their hands rearward away from the back shoulder. I like what she's doing now, as she settles into her back leg. That said, looking at it again, don't mess with it right now. I'm betting she will find the flow as all of these things come together for her.
At the the moment the only "hand" cue I tell her is to keep her hands up. If I don't tell her from time to time she will drop them. Also telling her to keep the barrel up also seems to help with the hands.
