DD is 15, almost 5'9" and 115 lbs. I plugged her information in at justbats and the result was 32-22. Is the 32-22 correct? What bats would you recommend? Thanks.

If she is 5'9" and strong I would recommend letting her try a 33/23. Have her take some front toss and live hitting with it to make sure she can get it around on faster pitching. If you have a pocket radar you can also measure her bat speed with both. If the are almost identical, or only a MPH or two off, I would go with the longer/heavier bat.

What JAD said.

She is tall enough to be swinging a longer bat, it comes down to how strong she is. 32/22 sounds right based on her weight not necessity with her height.

Have her hit with all the usual suspects ....Xeno, LXT, CF8, Mako .... and see which she likes best. Only she can tell you and they're all good so it really doesn't matter what she picks of those models.

I'd also have her swing a 33/23 along with the 32/22. The size chart is almost certainly skewing toward the 115 lbs rather than the 5'9" and I'm thinking she should try both before buying.

Agreed with both of the above. 11U DD is 5'8" 140lbs. and has been swinging a 33/23 the last two seasons. I'm certain your 5'9" 15 year old is at least as strong as my 12 year old.

I agree with letting her swing a bunch of different bats, some 33/23 bats have a lighter feeling swing than some 32/22 bats.

Some kids prefer a lighter swing some, like my 5'3" 103 lb DD like a heavier swing.

There is not right or wrong with this, it's all in what feels good to her
