Yeah, its a matter of controlling when you release the barrel imo. Swinging up will cause an earlier release immediately. Can really only hit the ball at one contact point. The hands can’t adjust to a change of speed bc they’re already released earlier to the fast ball. You can’t adjust out front.
Best way to adjust to a CU is to delay when you launch 😉 Yeah you can still hit one after your hands start to go but it isn’t optimal imo..

Best way to adjust to a change up is to ‘sink’ and let the body adjust out front w some tilt bringing the shoulders/hands forward against the lower half. Launching more out front.

Sure but the hands relation to the body should try to be maintained even if everything else is getting forward. To me that is delaying “go”..your DD does it above.

She does a great job of getting leveraged before hitting against her hips.. She could improve slightly on her hips extending against the the contraction but thats nitpicking ;)..

Great movement pattern !! Nice work you two did !!
