Bat Grip?

Can anyone tell me if there is any rules pertaining to the thickness of the bat grip? I tried researching it and saw something about the length but not thickness. In short can you have multiple layers of grip on the handle?

Speaking USA, there is no longer a restriction on the number of layers which can be applied to the bat handle
