DD is 10u and small for her age. Currently swinging a 29 drop 12 Vendetta with great bat speed but the bat isnt performing very well. Been looking to move to a drop 11 CF Zen or LXT but came across a smoking deal on a barely used 2019 LXT drop 12 ($125). I have heard mixed reviews so hoping folks here can offer some advice.

If you don’t want to spend a lot of money get a 2011 (Fp11sp9 black and purple) or 2012 Easton Stealth Speed (fp11sp10 white and purple) on eBay. Also, the 2012 Easton Synergy (fp11sy10 white and green)bats are hot. Typically these bats are already broke in. The uglier the hotter! I’ve got a 30in 20oz Easton Synergy that is smoking hot that my DD used a few years ago. The newer the bat, the longer it’s gonna take to break in. LXTs take a while. You need to hit about 500 balls with it for it to get game ready.

I imagine since easton runs heavy that this would be a 3oz jump in weight over the vendetta which is likely too much for my 56lb runt.....lol

I coach a 10U team and our girls have had success with pretty much the entire run of the Demarini 29/18 line. We have CF7s, CF8s, CF9s, CF Zens, and CF 2020s. In my opinion - Demarini is the way to go for smaller and younger girls. They have it pretty well figured out. The Vendetta is light, but it’s not in the ballpark of the other Demarini bats I mentioned.

I will throw in a second for the older Easton bats if you are looking to save money. My DD has a 29/17 stealth speed and it’s very broken in and close in performance to the above Demarini bats.

depending on your sanctioning - the blue Easton ghost is a great bat also. Unfortunately, we play sanctioning where sometimes the blue one is illegal and sometimes the yellow one is, so you would have to buy them both.

You posted initially at 8 am (CST) and you bought a bat and had her swing it already? You work fast..

lol....helps having a big field in front if my house for impromptu batting practice. Also sometimes helps to try things you think might not work just to see what happens......turns out DD can swing way more bat than I gave her credit for🤣

I would go with a LXT drop 11 as my 1st choice especially if your DD has good bat speed. Drop 12 is too light. Never liked the Vendetta’s.
2nd Choice would be DeMarini CF drop 11 or Prism drop 11.
All 3 bats are extremely balanced and close to stated weight. They all have massive sweet spots.
I would pass on the used 19 LXT. You can get some great deals on EBay on the 2020 smaller size your looking for.
Just make sure your buying from a 100% seller with many sales. A receipt for warranty purposes would also be a priority for me. If no receipt buyer beware.
