Talent is developed.
Skills are developed. How good one gets at those skills is a combination of many things, including genes.
It's not just athletic talent.
Never said it was.
Becoming world class at anything takes thousands upon thousands of hours of practice and learning. Learning the right way.
Sir/Miss you are preaching to the choir on that one..
"The Talent
Code" convinced me to let her follow her heart. And it's convinced me not to give up on a few other players... with good results.
I am glad it did this for you...like I said at the beginning worrying about things you cannot control, e.g. innate ability, is useless. I could
have told you that and saved you the X amount of dollars you spent on the book ;) That said, based upon the case I think you are trying to make, if your DD doesn't become the best pitcher in the history of the game at her height ( I'll concede that height isn't an athletic ability per se), it is due to lack of will or proper instruction..do you really believe that?
