Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the 'travel ball' experience at its highest level is centered around the college coach and positioning your DD to get the best future opportunity for her.
Since American Legion baseball was mentioned I'll use that as an example... where American Legion Baseball thrives it is an experience that's centered around the team and community, the college and professional scouts follow. I understand softball and baseball are currently different experiences, but if American Legion Softball turns out to be anything like American Legion Baseball it will be a huge success. No one is suggesting that will happen in year one.

Yes, that's correct. In 2021 they had 111 and then another 96 Jr teams. Pretty good for a state it's size. Too put in perspective California with the same saturation would have 1,388 teams...
