It may be difficult, but explain to her that she needs to throw a catchable ball back to the pitcher. A catchable ball changes based on the pitcher's ability. I am ONLY talking about when throwing back to the pitcher. Throws to other positions are fair game. I'm also a bit of an old school, tough love, parent. My DD is 15, I have to tone her back when we are getting loose sometimes. I'm old and need to start much slower and much closer. If we are close and she cuts one loose, it may not hit me, but stopping something wild from hitting the leg or mid-section takes a faster move than i need to be doing, especially without being loose.. Occasionally, I have to respond in kind without saying anything. Throw the ball to your DD harder than she can handle a few times. Sounds mean, but maybe she needs to know what it feels like to the other girls. JMHO
