10u Cathers Gear

Well, we have used the borrowed/freebie gear for all its worth. Now that DD2 has expressed more than just a fleeting interest in catching, we are looking to buy some new gear. DD1 is a pitcher so catchers gear is new to me. I'd love some recommendations on how to buy (sizing, brand, kits, etc.). Shes a 2nd yr 10u, 4 1/2'ish tall. Thanks for all the help!!

Congrats! IF it's at all possible go spend some time at a couple of decent sporting goods stores and check out some different brands and sizes to get a general feel for it. Don't worry about buying a kit of all the parts from the same brand...don't shy away if it works either.
