Well yeah. That’s what I meant, even if it’s 6 months from now, let us know.

I was meaning to reply to you guys individually earlier. But I haven't felt good at all. Thank you guys so much for your support through this. I can't really do anything for an extended period (I can only do anything I have to look at for up to 10 minutes without getting a crippling headache). Thankfully, my mom brought me some sushi home while she was on her lunch break from her work and checked in on me. I wanted to lay in bed but she insisted I lay on the couch. I couldn't watch much TV (I was trying to catch up on Smackdown Live and some other stuff I missed I normally watch), YouTube or even the fish and reading books. All I really did was listen to TV, TuneIn Radio app, Spotify, YouTube and Pandora. What still sucks is I can't get up and walk around much or do much of anything without getting either a headache or sick. When I had surgery on my broken arm or I had elbow tendonitis I could get up and get a drink or something to eat and at least do stuff. I can't with this injury. Plus, with being a head injury...I'm scared to think about another injury or not being able to come back or the ease I'm getting sick. I have an Orthodontist appointment with my sister and I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to follow up my ER visit. I'll update when I get home tomorrow.

Sounds like to dinged your melon pretty good. NOTHING is more important than your brain. It's kind of an important piece that you'll need to function at full capacity for a LOT more years. DO NOT try to rush your recovery, or pretend that you don't have symptoms. The ONLY right path is 100% recovery before playing again.

I wish you a speedy return to action, Gabby.

Audio books is a good idea.

DD had to go into to urgency care about a week after her injury. She'd been feeling much better decided to go run errands with DW and the symptoms came back strong. The Doc at urgency care explained that the brain is like a muscle. Just like you shouldn't exercise a sprained muscle or broken bone before it's ready--you don't use your brain until it's ready... That was eye opening to me.

Hey, guys. Softgabby's dad posting on behalf of softgabby. She asked me to post an update of how she's doing. I was reading over her post on here and have an idea of what she was saying on here about what happened to her Tuesday night. She was supposed to have a braces adjustment this morning but we had it rescheduled because of her concussion. Her orthodontist agreed and thinking it maybe too much to adjust her wires and stuff for her braces and to check her new headgear because of her overbite and making her head hurt more than it already does. I took her to Burger King and to Starbucks before we went to her doctor's appointment. Her doctor confirmed the diagnosis the ER doctor had given when we went to the ER. The doctor wants to see her in two weeks thinking she should be feeling better by then and to check up on her. I put her to bed when we got back home and I took care of some work from my job while I stayed home to check on her. I also ordered some room darkening curtains to put up in her bedroom so she has a dark room to sleep in during the day because she's pretty light sensitive right now and its causing her to have bad headaches which I have to go and pick up from Target. She has also been drinking a lot of ice water as well.

But, she wanted me to tell you guys thank you so much for the support and encouragement. She really needs it...and really we all need it right now. This is a tough thing for her to go through and for her being the way she is...she wanted this thing healed like yesterday so she can get back to what she needs to do and get back to school. I guess she gets her drive from her mom and I, lol.
