I have some willing parents to do Game Changer but none have done it before.

Have you had any experience with a good way to train parents on game changer? I'm thinking a good You Tube Game link I could use...

Let me know your thoughts and any good or bad things I could do/avoid.

To learn iScore I downloaded the manual, but then just scored a game off YouTube at home, where I could pause it, back it up, look things up in the manual. It worked well. GC is pretty simple. I had to use it once with zero experience because the score keeper had to miss a game, and it went fine.

And also follow the GameChanger tutorials available online. They are very helpful. Ultimately, for me it was just doing it for awhile, messing up, moving on and learning as I go. Don't expect perfection and freak them out. They will pick it up in no time!

Game Changer has a mode that allows you to practice. Look in the menu section. It has preloaded teams. You will have to come up with your own scenarios though.

They will pick it up pretty quickly. The need to know the nuances of the game however. Our HS team has a team manager scoring games live and it makes me nuts to see "Player A singles to the pitcher, player z out advancing to 2nd". I am yelling at my phone "That is a Fielder choice - not a hit!" Of course, it is OK if it is my DD getting a hit on an FC!
