Yes.......And there is interest in them potentially being "an amplifier of good stuff for their community" from discussfastpitch.

Imagine a softball world where the pitching, hitting and throwing "must dos" were the norm. Okay - maybe I'm getting a little Pollyanna but one can dream.
But...no more hello elbow, squish the bug, softball swing, ball facing away throws.... one could go on and on.

Let's see what happens. Key for them will be frequency and accuracy of content.

So far, it seems like it's more about the "soft" stuff - reasons to play, how to handle adversity, what to look for in a college, etc. It'll be interesting to see if they get into the "how to play" aspects. I'm not so sure that's their mission. Time will tell.

Saw her at the Mohegan for the coaches conference. She talked about the effort at length and goals for the program. Big on standardizing metrics and performance measurements. Implied that would be one key direction the site will go.

She also provided her "personal" number...with a message - "if you ever know a girl wanting to give up softball, have her call me"
