Looking for a tournament with a lot of games guaranteed...????

Okay so one of our parents has heard of a tournament somewhere that is like a week long and has a huge GG, like 18gg. I have searched off and on for the better part of 6 months. Does this tournament exist? If so, does anyone have a link to it? We are 16u B team.

The largest GG I have ever seen here in the midwest was a 10GG

I have never heard of an 18gg tournament.

• The Kansas City ASA Memorial tournament has 7gg.
• The Midwest "B" Goliath (USSSA) 7gg
• The Kansas City Midwest "A" Goliath (USSSA) 8gg

I have never heard of a tournament with18 gg in a one week time frame.

A few years back, my DDs played in a fall "tournament" where they played doubleheaders each weekend for 6 weeks and then had playoffs. The organization that ran it called it a tournament, when in fact, it was a league. Some fastpitch leagues around here run for 10 weeks or so during the summer. Maybe it is something similar?

DD's teams always seemed to get to the final game in a double elimination tourney after losing the first bracket game. Some weekends it sure seemed like 18 games.

Always seem to play out: you are a long way from home. Get sent to loser's bracket early Saturday morning. No games rest of Saturday. First game about 7:00am Sunday morning. Keep winning over and over. End up playing late into the night Sunday. Have to drive home and be to work early Monday.

Amen!!! Rinse and repeat for the next weekend.. Why do we torture ourselves like this?? Gotta love it!!!

Just wondering where that tournament is and what the name of it is??


As far as playing all day, some of our best tournaments have been the double elimination, losing one game in bracket play, getting in losers bracket and then playing until 11 at night. One tournament the girls literally had no break all day. It was back to back. We get in championship game against an undefeated (in that tournament) team and had to beat them twice and they did it. We actually had pizza delivered to the stadium and the girls ate in the dug out when they got the chance. The girls still talk about that day and the memories created.

Triple Crown has some long tournaments, but none that are 18 GG.

I know of one in York, PA that is 8GG. Have never seen any larger than that.
