In IL can a player play both MS and on another team?

I thought it was technically illegal. We had a few players do it and no one seemed to care, I know I did not.

MS? Middle school? Technically there has to be an agreement between travel team coach and the school. If they agree there players can play travel as long as it does not interfere with middle school games. Most good travel coaches wait for it to be over then invite them back, similar to high school where they better not touch them from February-early June.

I think it may just be a school rule. DD made the MS team in 6th grade, and was told no travel ball at all during MS ball season. In 7th & 8th grade they told her she can play & practice on their TB teams as long as it did not interfere with MS softball activities. She had a different coach all 3 years. Honestly though she played or practiced MS softball almost every day from a week before school started until the end of September/early October so didn't really have much time to practice with her TB team. Plus it was really only an issue in 6th grade. In 7th & 8th grade most of her team mates made the school teams so the TB went dark for that period.
