I would also score this a double. However, if the left fielder is simply playing a routine single coming her way, and then flubs it (bounces off her glove, etc.), then I would score it as a single and an error. Based on your description, the ball bounced off her glove due to the dive, so double.

I ruled that a single with a 2 base error. It was a single all the way, but the runner should not have been able to get past first on that play.
