I agree interesting play, haven't seen that done before. In thinking about demonstrating what happened to daughters team, since I agree so teams will now try that, it has me wondering about a situation that could come up...
As the second base runner was running up on home plate she had her arm outstreached in order to push the runner in front of her onto the plate before she touched it. Now IF the pitcher had thrown the ball to catcher in this situation and catcher had tried to tag the second runner, what is the situation with that first runner. That runner can't be put out because of the walk, but I would think also couldn't get in the way of the tag either on the second runner. Would you instruct your catcher to try to tag through the first runner? How would interference or obstruction apply in this case if the catcher tried to tag around and missed.

I'm guessing the must have picked something up on the scouting report. I can't imagine a runner would just try this out of the blue.
