Does anyone have a video of Tincher pitching? I would really like a slow motion video. My DD went to a clinic with her and one thing she taught seemed to be a bit different. I would really like to see if she does it when she pitched.

Just google her name and the first listing is Tincher pitching to Team USA in 2008 and no-hitting them. She's throwing a wicked rise that at 1:20 the batter just waves at (which of course is just a fastball that doesn't drop...haahahahahaha).

redhawkride, i have watched that video and I can't see her arm/ hand clear. I was hopng to see the clip first to actually see if she does what she/they(DAD) say. Lets just say they both hated the show it and throw it drill.

gregg99: the other posters asked you to explain your comment about her teaching something "different". And apparently you were looking at the video to see if she "walks the talk".
So, like those before me, please elaborate on what it is she said.......

As I said earlier, they didn't like the show it N throw it drill. they don't want the ball facing the catcher at 12. they both want the ball facing 3rd(right-handed) at 12 or earlier. They wanted the ball to be getting there at eye level. That way its easier for the ball to get facing second at 9. they were pretty much ball pushers not pullers. I did notice that when angela was demostating the arm whip she very rarely had her hand over the ball, she was facing 3rd alot of the time. So i want to see some video of her pitching to see where he hand/arm are. Everything else was fine, stay open, everything right down the power alley( Denny's new thought) Don't force fielding position.
I did come away with some drills to help my DD from swimming so much. So thats a plus. Also was very good to see the Angela is a very normal size female, 5'7 and maybe 120.

greg, I am actually very interested in what Denny has to say. Did he by chance say anything about "Tincher Maximum Energy Transfer System" if so what is it? He talks about it on his website but doesn't say what it is. I think I have a video of Tincher from the 3rd base side and will post when I get off work.

This is what i took out of the "maximum energy transfer system" There are 4 power points, Your left and right hips and shoulders. keep them always going toward the catcher in the power alley. One of them comes out you lose energy. So in a nut shell, stay OPEN with a firm left side. Don't close after release, try to put your drag foot down in the power alley too. There were alot of swimmers in the group and he estamated a 2-4 mph gain in just fixing that. Losing energy from the glove shoulder out of line. Form the thread a few weeks ago about how the elite pitchers pull the ball down all the vids showed this very clear, I just want to see Angela's hand. I really agreed with everything said except pushing the ball down.
