Too much weight on stride leg

Be patient and you'll have a bunch of instructors commenting on here. Hopefully. The reason I ask above is that I'm wondering if it's really a terminology difference. Meaning for the most part I would want all of the pitcher's weight to be on her stride foot (at landing). But for the angle of her body to be behind the front foot.

If you look at this pic of Amanda I would say that her front leg is bearing all of the weight. But she's resisting the movement to go forward so her body stays back behind her front leg.

So my guess is that your daughter is leaning her shoulders over her hips/toe.

Yeah, lots of weight (in fact most if not all) goes onto the stride food as the drive foot is dragging forward.

Hmmm. I think I need to see a pic.

After re-reading are you referring to the stride heel as the left foot on a right handed pitcher? Or the right foot?
