I'll update as I continue to test additional students.
I introduced it to 3 girls today.
My initial thoughts about it are as follows...
1. Very well built (weighs about 25lbs)
2. Easy to use
3. Versatile (plates can be exchanged for baseball and hitting)

After today each of my 3 girls all showed a weakness in their drive. After a brief introduction to the product, they each started trying to out do each other .
As we transitioned into pitching to batters, each girl started throwing a touch harder. Nothing earth shattering, but a mph or two is significant being that it was her first day using it...
I'll update as I test in additional girls and I'll be using my pocket radar with before and after video clips.

But isn’t a Ball Coach Radar or a RevFire a gadget? There’s plenty of threads that discuss the usefulness of those devices. I’m interested in the feedback that coach James will be providing. I understand maybe cutting short the sales pitch from the developer, but if one of the forum’s more frequent posters find it to be useful, we should be made aware.

Thanks for posting this Coach James! And thanks for the link to the video JO!

Pretty confident in saying this gadget is a pass especially at the price. Video is dreadful and can't see what this is going to help. Push harder?? I go back to what Rick Pauly has said for years....the drive may add 10% speed to your pitch. Focus on the other 90% and this device won't help that.

If this gets to be another thread basically hawking a gadget, I'll delete the thread.

Ray,
I'm not selling this product. I'm simply providing a service to our subscribers by reviewing it. If I find that my test subjects are actually gaining speed and achieve a better sequence it'll be worth the price.... Or it may be a useless gadget. We'll have to see. I'll be giving a fair an honest assessment of a potentially very useful product.
I don't believe that any product should take the place of a quality PC. However if a product can aid that PC in getting his/her students to FEEL something over trying to explain it... I find that useful

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9wM3cbejgSA Here's a video. 2.40 mark force production of front leg .... ouch lock it in

I think I like the tool though just not this demonstration
Yeah. I saw that locked out knee too... Very poor demo indeed!
It'll make 2 audible clicks when used correctly. The first being the ground forces and the second is the forward move.
I've found it to be helpful especially on the second click. This tells me the "detachment" that we're looking for when the arms are at 3:00.... That's the unrealized bonus that the manufacturer didn't plan on!
I'll post a few clips of a couple students tonight

The price on that is crazy.
Yep. Price is subjective to ones opinion of it. I buy my dd on average 2 bats a year at approximately $300 each (core hooks me up) but if that bat turns her 180 foot fly balls into dingers....well as a proud papa I'd say that's money well spent. The confidence she'll gain in herself alone is priceless.
Which brings us back to the queen. If my pitchers all suddenly achieve a ton better drive and sequence... That will obviously increase speed... And then we're back to your perception of value

Much like Amazon reviews I was wondering if you actually paid for it (or it was sent to you for review). ;)
