After following your thread on QOTH, i actually ordered one Sunday. Am i still good for a $25 refund?

Since Queenofthehill visits this site regularly and actually started the first post or should I say "pitch" on their product here they will likely see this already and hopefully apply it for you JJ.

Thanks for the review. I'm glad the company chose to give someone on here one to tryout. That was a good move. When products work companies are generally willing to allow people to try. I am contemplating buying one and with the review I am more inclined to do so.

Agree BT. Smart marketing and seems to have worked as their intial thread was shutdown pretty good by many of the experts here. DFP is not quite social media but just goes to show you how well it works. Pretty confident you don't need to spend $300 to teach someone how to push off the rubber and as Riseball stated, no gadget can replace good coaching.

Exactly!
That said I did pull the trigger at $274. We had the Amada Scarboro leg drive device. I think we paid $200 for that one and sold it after a year of use for $165. Not a bad deal. DD's PC said if it works she would pay for it in full and we can use anytime. But if not, I guess I have a 25lb paper weight :)

You're 100% correct. No devise can replace good coaching. I've been coaching now about 16 years. This is one of the few tools that will validate what I'm teaching. We as coaches can not teach a feeling... The students must find that feel on her own. This tool forces the feeling of correct thrust and sequence automatically... This is why I'm posting on it. It actually is a very helpful tool.

Not denying the potential validity and I hear what you are saying. I missed and immediately was turned off with the original poster from the company promoting here. More turned off that they found someone to promote for them so they wouldn't have to. Not a social media fan but do trust your opinion and always have.

That said, I would think hard before shelling out that kind of cash. Ask yourself, does your DD or pitcher always pitch from the rubber or does she pitch indoor or outdoor without any rubber at all? Does she even know how to push from a rubber? If the answer is no, sometimes, well maybe then I say save your cash, get on amazon, and buy a $20 pitching rubber and teach them how to push from it. Many kids, and this amazes me, don't use a rubber to pitch from in lessons. Always have something to push from. Always, Always, Always or they won't learn the power of how to push and add a bit of extra velocity.

I was the OP related to the first post and I started the thread to see if anyone had experience with the device. I had seen it being used on an Instagram page of a pitching coach that I follow. I’m not affiliated at all with the company but wanted to bring it to the DFP community’s attention for input. I agree that the company jumped in and the thread morphed into a sales pitch but I’m glad CJ got an opportunity to try out the device for himself to validate any of the claims so that our community has a non-biased, real life opinion from one of our own members.

The company was informed of the discussion on this site... He quickly created a profile and posted his adds in response.
The adds seemed a bit aggressive with name drops on who all is buying into it!
There will be at least 5 or 6 dfp'ers using the tool as early as this week... We'll start to see several more opinions that will validate what I've already shared.

The queen of the hill was a huge success at the Louisville Kentucky clinic with Rick Pauly this last weekend. The company had 6 or 7 on hand and all of them were sold that day as well as several orders taken. Rick was given one that will be mailed to him this week and he will be given the opportunity to use it on his students. What little bit Rick used this trainer on Saturday was enough to impress him.
Rick said he would post his review after having a chance to use it on a few students
Ken Krause should be receiving his this week as well, be on the lookout for Ken's review
