Somewhat similar to the Powerdrive by Scarborough. We have a powerdrive but haven’t used it all that much.
When we first started out, I was a sucker for every and any gadget.... now....

Save your money - follow the drive mechanics thread, get a dog clicker trainer (Pauly recommendation) and use you iphone video to slo-mo looking for where to improve.

Looks interesting.... a sprinters split jump or a two step will provide the same mechanics... They had some serious claims. Read a FB post claiming a girl went from 58 to 65 mph with out any pitching instruction.... I'm betting whoever wrote this was a fisherman

I can give you more info on the QUEEN OF THE HILL.
The queen of the hill is nothing like the power drive that Amanda Scarborough uses.
The most important aspect of creating velocity is transferring energy into a conflicting force which is the front side bracing. The power drive does nothing to introduce the pitcher to create leg drive. And this is what makes the queen of the hill so unique and important to a pitcher who wants to create more velocity. The Queen will help the pitcher not only feel the increase of leg drive but only clicks when she’s created enough leg drive to defeat the level she’s at. This is where the adjustable spring force comes into play. Now turn up the compression force and the pitcher has to drive harder to hear the click. It becomes a challenge to the pitcher to hear the click! The Queen will allow the coach to minimize his Blood Pressure by not having to yell at the pitcher to “Use your Legs” lol, I just had a coach talk to me last night about a girl that was maxing out at 58 miles an hour and after getting on the queen she jumped up to 62 miles an hour after about 25 throws off of the queen!

Say what you want Coach James but the university of Michigan had a girl topping out at 67 miles an hour and hit 71.5 off one of the queen of the hills. Florida, Florida State, Penn State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina all have ordered my trainer.
And if you look at that so-called fisherman he was using Rapsodo Showing the girl hit 65.2 miles an hour. Mike is a baseball guy and threw that girl up there just to see what kind of results he could get. That’s why he didn’t give her any instructions other than just to make it clicke showing the girl hit 65.2 miles an hour. He had just got the queen of the hill for his facility where she was taking instruction from another trainer.

You will be missing out!
Increasing leg drive into the conflicting force of the front brakes and leg will cause the hips to go faster. And as you know pitching is a transformation of linear energy into rotational energy! Historically to get them to create more force of the backside has been a verbal oriented training ......... which means you’ve got to Yellit them to drive harder.
The queen of the hill will make a distinct double click when the girl has created enough force to defeat the spring pressure. Turn up the force which is easy and the girl has to drive harder to hear the double click. This double clicked is the key to getting them to understand how much force are creating off the backside.

I'll bite!
Send me one.. I will test it with my DD. She is strong but can use some leg drive help.
I will post updates and if we like it we will pay full price.
If not we will send back.

I can see where the tactile feedback could make the light bulb go off for some girls who don't understand the difference between striding off the rubber by casting their stride leg out, and actually driving off of it but that's a real expensive light bulb. Once they've figured that part out, though, getting better at it is a matter of training and technique which you wouldn't need a gadget for.

My guess is that the increased velocity came from the pitcher suddenly being more intentional about their leg drive once she was told to use the device, and not from anything she wasn't capable of doing already.

I agree with you, and I am not running out and buying one. However, if this is something that one of our DDs is struggling with, we can and will spend a lot more than that in lessons trying turn on that light. Never mind the frustration.
