denny stressed to my daughter the importance of the glove block. he wants to hear the glove hit the first time on the hip thigh area and finish above hip on side. if my daughter doesn't slam the glove on the first hip touch it throws her off because the upper back and arms get out of whack. no noise on the finish with glove to the upper hip. he would get on my daughter if her glove work was like your dd. and i don't mean that in a bad way. just something i dealt with 2 days ago. the correction in that caused my dd to gain velocity and control.
