Speed kills at younger ages and closer distances. As they get older, only unicorns of speed can get away without location. I voted location and thats what my DD struggles with.

All depends on the kid. If your DD throws hard it's speed, if not, location. If she can't do either its spin.

I think spot is MOST important. Spin or speed with bad spot get crushed

We have a pitcher that trys to overpowers batters. She is good.

DD nibels, she will not throw a strike unless she needs too.

Its called "FastPitch" for a reason. So speed would be the first choice, however not the strongest choice. Location would be the strongest of the three options. Movement or AKA Spin will become one. Once you mastered a drop or curve, your location will be on point.

So fire, earth, wind, water, and heart will form Captain Planet or a good softball player.....

physics folks..

IMO, spin...

I had to look up who Aroldis Chapman was..How many golden gloves did he win?

Greg Maddux won 18 golden gloves..

Its not about speed.

Slower pitches keep the ball in the park, slower pitches with movement cause fly outs or ground outs...

slower pitchers are not the "Ferrari's" of the game though..mixed speed and movement wins games.

Depends on the age group. location 10u . 12u 14u speed. 14u and up Hope tp have all of the above.

At 14u - a little reckless speed can be great, as long it is all around a big strike zone.
