I keep seeing the advice to teach your pitcher to play underhand catch. Can someone take a video of what this looks like?

The trick here too is both people do not need to throw underhand, in video 1 does 1 doesn't.

It gets old too if you are throwing underhand and the catching player needs to chase the ball.

Back on the dirt...
When DD pitched we would do this starting close then backing up, just playing catch. Start off with short wind up, gradually getting more wind up and more distance. We would also alternate over and under.

I always make the return throw to DD underhand -- the reps have made me a much better BP pitcher! But when she's warming up with a catcher, the return throws are always overhand.

We do the same, it's a great way to warmup before throwing from a full windup.
