Bill, look at either prosper/McKinney TX or The Woodlands/Conroe TX. Both have the $ and a high volume of softball players. Houston’s winters are much milder than Dallas.

Thanks to everyone who both replied to this and sent me PM's. I guess I should've been a bit more specific. I already know where the "hotbeds" are, like SO Cal, McKinney/Houston Texas, etc. But, I need a place that I can move into and work in a building at a reasonable costs. Using a chain facility: D-bats, Frozen Ropes, etc. are not likely in working a long term deal with someone like me. Why should they give a discounted rate for a lane when they can rent it at full cost during peak hours? I'm getting a lot of interest from Atlanta, and being a former "consultant" with University of Georgia, who knows what could happen there. The lessons I used to do there went well in the past so, it looks promising. I have never been to So Cal for clinics/lessons, I've always just been afraid of the size of that market, how many PC's are there already, etc. And, again, it comes down to a facility.

Most of you are thinking, if you go to a place like So Cal, Atlanta, or Texas you can do lessons outside for no cost. The problem with that is, while it's 90 degrees for the student's 1 hour... I'm out there for 6-12 hours!!!!! I'm not a snowman but I will eventually melt. Although, as the great Mitch Hedberg once said... I was going to get my teeth whitened but I decided to get a tan instead!

So, while I want to have a home for lessons, I would also really really like places to visit for clinics and lessons throughout the year. If you have contacts with owners of facilities that won't ask for my first born son as cost, I'm open to it. And, yes I will bring my charm, humor, fantastic looks, and charisma with me.

Bill

I went to a new doctor the other day but all he wanted was to draw blood from my neck... I do not recommend seeing Dr Acula. (think about it).
