First, thanks to everyone for the compliments. Griffs, I used to do weekly lessons in Buffalo until we lost the building we were using. the lease ran out and the owner didn't renew it... so I stopped weekly lessons there. HOWEVER, the last 3 weeks I had been going to Buffalo to do a few lessons. TONIGHT would be the night I would typically be going however, I just got home from a 5 day trip to California for lessons, I'm home for 24 hours to do laundry and pack, then I'm off to Europe for a month. So I won't be home until mid August. I plan on resuming in Buffalo for a week or 2 when I get back, before my students go back to their colleges. So, if you want, drop me an email around Aug 9 or so and I'll let you know what the plan is for when I return. I'd be very very careful of going to see Java.... he has a strange taste in music. The guy paid good money to go see Milli Vanilli!!!! In full disclosure, I went to the same concert but my tix were free as a girl I was dating back then won them on the radio. So, I ask you... how much can you really trust a guy who pays to see Milli Vanilli? What if all his pitching info is lip sync'd too???????? ha ha

Bill

Sadly I too had a girl drag me to Milli Vanilli except I paid...lol
Thanks for the offer as well!!
I will set a reminder to shoot you a message around August 9th ..
Works out as I am very busy with my sons travel ball 16u team until the weekend prior

Really appreciate it.... Enjoy Europe

Bill- I'll get hold of you when you get back as well. With Western B Nationals ending 8/5 and school starting 8/14, when you get back is about the time I'd like to try to get you out west.

Have a great trip to Denmark. I have 2nd cousins in Sweden I need to visit one of these years.

shaker1 thanks for the info.

Bill may take you up on that but we are up in the buffalo area and its a good hour and 30 minutes each way.

we travel 2hr each way to see our PC.

a few things make this effort well worth it.
1. he is the BEST
2. after several years, he is a dear FRIEND.
3. frequency with him is not the typical 30-45min lesson once a week.
4. the "lessons" include hitting and pitching and duration is typically 2hrs..
5. he gives "homework" and goals to strive for when working on own between lessons.
6. he encourages video to be sent to him for comment, between sessions

his hitting instruction has yielded such amazing results, that if DD wasn't a pitcher, I'd still see him for hitting, overhand throwing, etc.
a true student of the game. (and a little bit like a mad scientist, too LOL)

Java is in Western NY. Drove 4.5 hours from Jersey to see him twice a month for 2 years. A really good guy and fantastic PC, cant say enough about his knowledge and instruction, and how great the experience has been for my daughter. She has a notebook from day one with her notes and Java's notes in it that is priceless. Look him up.

I drove 5 hours each way twice for my DD to work with Java. Great coach and a cool dude. My daughter no longer pitches but I'd be willing to meet Java halfway for a beer and BS session. Hell, I'd even play some Milli Vanilli on the jukebox for him.
