I know a pretty good instructor from Corpus Christi who would join me in DFW if someone can set it up........just needs to be the right time in between her seasons.

This is the 2nd time you have invaded my turf Rick!!! Shame on you!! First it was Ohio, now it's DFW where I do lessons once per month. ha ha. You know I'm kidding about the turf thing but I do go once per month. You should do an interview with Fastpitch TV Show while there, he lives there and is always looking for good new content. I'd be happy to put you in touch.

Is the first session designed for beginners and 2nd session for more experienced pitchers? Like in our situation since you know my DD's skill would she come to both or just #2?

Thanks!

All three if possible. The first Sunday session is for any age or level with a focus on optimum mechanics. The second is for intermediate/advanced pitchers and will focus on developing spins and how to use them along with spots and speeds to get outs.

(Oops—meant Sunday not Saturday...)

Ken, I think you should micro size your and my sections under Mike's and Anna's. I mean tiny and shaded. LOL! Hell, I plan on simply helping Mike in any way I can (be a "yes sir" sort of helper, and hopefully gain a smidgen more of his infinite knowledge).

Doug,

I saw you work with pitchers in Indiana. I'm excited my DD will be coming with me this time and that she'll get to work with you.

Another Ken

For those of you coming... and those of you undecided...

I truly look forward to the time we'll be spending together! Spread the word, and encourage those you know in the region to get their butts out there!!

We have Anna Miller, Ken B, Doug Romrell... and a couple other surprises for you.

We'll be covering EFFICIENCY in pitching fundamentals... showing you how to identify and eliminate all the unnecessary fluff, mechanics, and drills you might be tempted to use (or currently using)... and replacing them with the tools that truly make a difference. Quality and timing of pitching movements will be a focus, along with some new concepts on how to improve your daughters arm whip, posture, and command in the circle.

We'll then turn our focus towards developing the only three tools you have to get batters out:

  1. Speed - How to use speed most effectively... how to maximize your speed potential, and mix in some gorgeous offspeed and change-up looks to batters.
  2. Spin- Never met a kid that says, "I want to throw the ball directly on to the bat". I'll help you take the mystery out of teaching the drop, rise, and curve. Little bit of science, a ton of new ideas on creating the spin that makes the ball move away from a bat.
  3. Spot- Not just how to throw to locations... but we'll definitely cover the most efficient ways to spot a ball.. and then tie in our new understandings of Speed & Spin... using these to change the location of the pitch.

In our coaches clinic... tons of high-speed video... you'll see things you previously thought were unicorns in softball... performed by students and professionals. The video presentation is pure gold, folks. Bringing your daughter to this will give her a major advantage in the Sunday clinics.

Have a coach in the area you're trying to convert? Drive them to the coaches clinic... by the time they leave there, you'll all be dancing to the same tune.

We'll cover health & wellness, warm-up routines, proven strength & stability programs, too.

Have questions on anything pitching related? Get your tush out there and ask. Coaches presentations are an open forum - and we highly recommend you ask what's on your mind.

Anyway... now that I'm done plugging this fantastic event... thank you all for your support, kind words, challenges, and hair-pulling threads over the years. Let's take what we all share... and make it available to the world. Spread the word!!!

Thank you. I'm so stoked to see those of you that are coming!!!

Will Rick and Rich, the other founders be there also Java? If not, any plans to get together with them anytime soon and launch things?

Thanks!
