Not lost - just no idea where I am

Thank you Shaker for the gifs.
I did notice last nite the replant. It is common to see anymore at all levels, is never called, that I mostly overlook it. ESPN was showing the drop spin and it sure looked like an HE delivery. So I figured the communal brain trust would know! :)
Looking at the GIFs, what I see is: She is pulling the ball down the back side, seems to get IR as the arm goes 9 to 6 oclock. But it seems she does not get the brush and consequently, the whip we all so covetously seek. (at least when I compare to the gifs of Sarah P. Ueno etc.)
Do others agree?
I am interested as DD still does not get as much brush/whip as I think is optimal.
Thanks!

I don't see any HE here - sure she ends her arm with her arm up but you can see the IR turn before the ball leaves. Just how she ends her drop which really has an exaggerated arm motion - all her other pitches are straight IR with what looks like plenty of whip. As she is from Sydney and the Aussie program it is pretty likely she is working with Tanya Harding (the old one-season UCLA/pro/Olympian pitcher).

I will give her credit. Though she is still leaping she has made a major effort to change and get way lower. Re-learning how to drag after multiple years of doing it differently (and legally where she is from) over a college season must of been tough. Still illegal though. Hansen will be illegal all night as well as she always is.

This video shows more pitches. She definitely uses IR mechanics.

Even if it happens so fast the eye can’t detect it. There was an obvious start point of her plant and drag in the dirt that was 2ft in front of the pitching rubber. King’s drag was on the other side and started at the toe. Shows 2 ft advantage.

What I find amazing is that these college pitchers don't get called yet my 12 year old daughter has been called for just about every infraction no matter how minor. I guess it's a testament that the coaches complain about her to try and slow her down and get in her head.

Why would they start calling IPs now, Cat Osterman leaped illegally for 15 years, nothing new with the non-calls. The only people that really care are on DFP...how about all the pitchers who stride outside the 24inch lane to get a greater angle on the pitch...you also never see that one called.

While "some" of that may be true at the college/pro level, it has most definitely not been the experience of many youth pitchers (and their teams and coaches) from the very beginning of their pitching careers up thru 18U in Rec, Travel or HS ball.
