i was watching the OK vs Wichita game and took notice of Paige's stride to both sides.
Java's notes indicate that it is beneficial to stride to the left (RHP) of your drive line/foot.

stride right

both pitches seem to end on the outside (RH).

can someone explain why this is so?

The Wichita pitcher has a big bounce up at the end. Does this provide any advantage at all?

Some are of the opinion that, "Your stride should be to the same place regardless of pitch." I don't see it as an absolute in pitching mechanics. I've found some pitchers benefit from striding left, right, and between.

OU likes to throw curve that stays outside the plate and then breaks over plate at the last minute, that’s my best guess for that first pick. The other may be her screw.
