Funny story and will try to keep it short unlike most of my posts. Rick is my DD's pitching coach so I want to make that clear. Okay, truth is he is not but that is what I tell everyone who asks who is....I am her coach and Rick looked at a vid of my DD several years ago and has answered several emails from me over that time. He is truly an Ambassador to the game and is incredibly helpful and taught me a ton so far. With that said, I hope Rick would not be upset, but when certain situations arise, he is her coach. For some reason, many coaches don't believe a Dad knows anything about pitching and maybe I don't but I have more than a 4 year degree here at DFP! Full Disclosure, I have repeated the classes many times....
Getting back to why I tell people he is my DD's coach.....they always ask when they throw out "let's start with wrist flips" or something else that is a waste of time I have to stop them in their tracks as I know our time is being wasted. BUT when I say her coach is Rick and explain who he is they get interested and all of sudden I have some credibility as DD has a coach that knows what the hell he is teaching. Point being, I don't have the credibility....YET... as I only coach my 2 daughters. However, I can keep the "every pitching coach on the corner in Softball USA" away when I mention Rick's name.
Truth is, I probably owe Rick some compensation for that, but it has been a huge help and I know with 110% certainty he as well as this site knows more about pitching than most you will find.

LOL If I paid Rick, Rich, Java, Bill, Denny, Doug, Boardmember, Brandon, Ken, Riseball, and many others that I've just failed to mention, for all the knowledge I've gained from them over the past 8+ years (plus the thousands of others I've learned how NOT to do it).... Id need to take out a second mortgage on my house!
