Default A couple of questions...answers please

My dds hand after release uncontrollably sways left to right. I notice that after that happens she has a little more pop when she stops it and goes to hand shake position then when she just lets is fly til it naturally stops. Any thoughts on this??? I also notice that she has less control when she is throwing hard.....any thoughts on how to get the control with more speed???

    Assuming she is a righty.

If they are forcing their hand somewhere after the release a lot of times forcing something during their pitch.

I am contradicting myself but I used to ask DD to touch her left shoulder as a follow through. Left hip would work as well.

You can make billions if you figure out speed and control, only anwser unfortunately is practice.

    Can we see a video?
She sounds pretty normal, to me.

YES!!!!!!!!!!! this is what I am talking about. you see how Rick's hand goes back and forth and then he stops??? my dd sometimes doesn't stop it....it just flutters around. But when she finishes like Rick in hand shake I see more pop. I am wondering if this is something to address....

Rick's hand "flops" then he stops it to end in the handshake position all AFTER the ball has left. The flop is caused by the whip, stopping it is irrelevant. Scarborough still pulls up into a faux hello elbow finish after release.

The more pop, if that is quantifiable and not just your perception, will be caused by something else upstream. After the ball leaves the hand what the hand does is basically irrelevant.

If her hand resembles Ricks, then she's getting a strong snap over. This is a good thing. Adds spin and speed
