We are doing IR. On drill at 9 no bullet spin. On full pitch getting almost curved or bullet spin.

Sounds like she's not allowing her hand to get behind the ball just before release. Keep everything loose and let IR happen. Does she get any brush contact?

Brush is happening too close to her midline OR no brush is happening and she is turning the doorknob at the last second with no brush.

I usually see this with girls who have throwing posture issues.

If brush is happening too close to her midline, you will see her front shoulder lower than her throwing shoulder. Let her feel the throwing should work back and under NOT over and down.

If brush is not happening, look at things upstream...primarily a leg drive sequence that is probably "getting open before getting out" as opposed to "getting out then open."

Yes some brush will upload some video. Seems like she must be on side of it too much.

It’s just so odd on just a start from 9 o’clock it gets the right spin.

I think it may be just part of her learning how to release the ball with the muscles in the forearm and the hand and fingers and it takes time to get the timing through a lot of repetition. My DD was throwing with bullet spin for over a year and if I tried to get her do much proactively with her arm she in golf terms would come over the top and loose her whip. Telling her to put pressure on the ball with the index and middle finger on release helped some and getting the middle finger behind the ball at release. She got to the point where she was throwing half her pitches with bullet and the other half spinning towards the batter like in the IR thread. I would give her direct feedback when I would see a bullet spin and she could usually fix it on the next few pitches. Over time it slowly went away now she is starting to be able to get 12/6 rotation when she wants to.

Just watched a couple clips of her... here's a few tips
1. Her bullet spin is a result of releasing too late combo'd with good IR. Her hand is already starting to turn. Need to get her elbow deeper towards her back by getting a scap pinch over the top of the circle. This will allow her forearm brush to act as a release trigger. (I'd bet you lunch that her FB/DB has slight curve ball movement!?)
2. Get more explosive off the rubber. Look for her pivot foot toes to lift off the rubber as the ball hand reaches 3:00
3. Stride leg needs more focus out rather than up, her toe touch should be approx. 12-11:00, and heel plant/ resistance by 9:00
4. Stay locked in at a 45 degree angle, don't allow excessive rotation of the torso towards the catcher. This will aid in resistance as well as prepare her for movement pitches down the road
5. As with all girls, she can't snap off the release hard/ fast enough. Never be satisfied, and really emphasize to her the violent action from 9:00 into the release. This requires a nut crack of the butt cheeks, a strong as steel front leg almost pushing back, and a flex of the abdominal muscles.
