Hi all,
I got no DD neither am I a Bucket Dad! :)
I'm an old player that has been Pitching in Paris (France) for 2 years now.
Any help would be appreciated since I found a lot of very nice infos on this site and through its members.

As you can see in the thumbnail of the video, I seem to have (among others flaws) a problem in timing. It seems to me that my arms are getting ahead.
What do you think about that ?

Any other help on problems you might spot will be appreciated too; but please let's not talk about "replant" since in France nobody even knows what it is ! :)Cheers !
Have a great holidays !

Too open ? How is that ? How do you spot that and fix ?
The side arm thing is strange to me ! I can see it too somehow but can I be side arm with good Brush interference (which I got but doesn't show here)...
Thanks for your answer and expertise !

Pay attention to Joe Heinlein's feet in this video. Note that his left foot ends *behind* his right foot. His left foot never comes in front of his right foot. This is caleld "front side resistance".

You take a few steps after you throw. So, you are losing speed because of these steps.

On a bucket
Look at the back foot and knee, they are pointing the wrong direction. Drive out, not sideways

@shaker I was going to post this exactly same pic but given the leap and replant I think Adam might be a better example. I do see a couple things...while we always talk about a bent arm you arm is bent too much causing the sidearm type motion, your arm should pass through about 90 degrees but your arm stays at 90 degrees for too long. Biggest thing is going to be to stop landing flat footed after your leap, this is Adam after his big leap at the same spot heel plant of the front foot, notice his back foot since the heel is off the ground the hip is able to release I don't think your hip releases until almost you let go of the ball. His back heel never comes down he lands on the toe/ball of his foot and then just flexes his foot as he pushes off. I think landing on your back foot flat footed is causing a hitch in you arm motion.

djcarter "I think landing on your front foot flat footed..." Do you mean Back foot ?

I'll work on this and will post later on...
For the too much of an angle in the elbow do you ave any advice on how to work on it ?

I was some kind of aware about all this points (and front side resistance too) ! BUT I can't seem to overcome them !
Any advice on how to work on them would be great !
TX again ! This gives me even more energy to work it through !
