Just got an email back today saying they were hoping to have them out for Christmas. I can't believe no one else has made something similar. It seems to me there is a demand for it.
This would be awesome. I’ve run into a surprising number of folks who honestly don’t recognize spin/axis. A tool that could identify the quality of the spin would be awesome feedback for pitchers!
So a week ago I reached out to Rapsodo seeing if they had and itch to maybe make it more affordable eventually (newer scaled version of it maybe) and lower the price point so the little guys could get in on the fun, and it looks like they have no intention of that happening. So honestly, I'm holding out hope for Revfire 2. If it could measure spin axis too..... OH man look out! Response from them below.
Coach,
I apologize for the delay in getting back to you! To answer your question, I do not foresee us being able to drop the price point for what the tech provides. We do have a payment plan through PayPal for the hardware cost. However, we will always have to have a subscription cost to cover our continually growing cloud.
