Looks to me like she has some of the difficult stuff down, fine tuning the small details will make the difference IMO.

On her drive, I would try to get her working on advancing her attack posture while the backswing is taking place. When the backswing acts as a negative action against the drive, it forces the hips to thrust and spine to straighten, creating the alignment we're looking for which is similar to a sprinter.

I see a stride leg which is leading with the foot, we want to attack with the knee and let the foot follow. It's hard to tell from the front angle, but appears the foot is leading the knee, ideally, we want the knee close to parallel (with the ground), before the foot takes over and hips open.

Java's got some great drills that would fix this in no time. His pushback drill is phenomenal, and after she can do it comfortably, the 2-step drill will convert it into a legal pitching motion

Two biggest things I saw were power and posture. Power in the drive as addressed by the other poster kinda hard to tell from angle but definitely opening just a little soon really want to focus on powerful drive forward that leads to a natural opening. Again the angle is bad but does seem to be leaning forward a bit a "stand tall" cue might be all that is needed but it's important she knows what it is supposed to feel like so work with her on that. One last thing looks like her front side resistance was not consistent it was there for one pitch but not the next...keep up the good work.

maybe a side view next time would be better for critiquing.

Thank you Coreleon and DJ. I'm in agreement with your assessments. Quick question - I just downloaded Coach's Eye and shot a few vids and then played them back. 1080 fps is still too slow as rapid arm and leg movement is still too fast to get unblurry playback. Is there something better out there? I can make this a separate post.

I suppose it depends on the phone?

My iPhone has an option to film slow motion. As long as the lighting is good, I can pretty much get stills from every hour in the arm circle. Where I'm limited is at release point where the wrist action is just too quick for any of today's phones.

1080 fps!? That would be awesome! 120fps at 1080p and 240 at 720p are likely options and should be fine in VERY good lighting. Lotsa light is the key.

I finally gave up my flip for an iPhone 6 and ABSOLUTELY LOVE the slow motion! Amazing how far tech has come!
